AKRON, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Myers Industries, Inc. (NYSE: MYE), a leading manufacturer of a wide range of polymer products and distributor for the tire, wheel, and under-vehicle service industry, today announced that Meghan Beringer has joined the Company as Senior Director of Investor Relations, reporting to Grant Fitz, Chief Financial Officer.

Beringer brings twenty years of leadership experience across multiple disciplines including the utility and banking industries. Prior to her role at Myers, Beringer spent sixteen years at FirstEnergy with most of her career in the roles of director of Emerging Technologies Strategy and director of Investor Relations.

Beringer graduated from University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and minor in marketing and international business. She holds a juris doctorate from Northern Kentucky University’s Chase College of law. She will be based out of Myers’ corporate headquarters in Akron, Ohio.
